Hi.

I have a CSV file of size 1.3GB which I would like to create a Kibana dashboard for. However, when uploading data, Kibana only allows a maximum file size of 100MB.

I have gone into the `elasticsearch.yml` config file and added `http.max_content_length: 1.5gb` (added - it wasn't there to begin with) and also into the `kibana.yml` config file and added `xpack.reporting.csv.maxSizeBytes: 1500000000`.

However when I now visit `localhost:5601` nothing has changed - it still tells me that the upload limit is 100MB.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance.

The answer here is to use a tool like Logstash and process the file line by line instead of sending it to Elasticsearch all at once. Have a look at [this introduction to Logstash](https://www.elastic.co/blog/a-practical-introduction-to-logstash).

Thank you, I will look into this.
