# Index Lifecycle Policies

We have created a Life Cycle Policy with a Index Template which updates multiple index patterns in different environment( say Dev, QA, Stage). Since rollover will work on a single pattern, would like to know the approach whether single index template can work on the policy and not breakdown? Looking for an answer at the earliest.
