# Index management aws

Elastic search cluster is managed by AWS. My requirement is to delete the index older than 5 days.

Below are the things have done.

1. Through kibana , I have created policy.
2. I applied policy for the index pattern through indices.

how to apply these policy for newly creating index every day.
