# Index or shard level field cache details?

Is it possible to view the field cache details for a specific index or for
a specific shard instead of for an entire node? We are experience issues
with the field cache size and being able to analyze the cache size for a
specific index or shard would help narrow down the cause.

There isn't currently, as its a bit tricky with how its stored today. There
is an issue open about it and it something that should be possible in the
future.
