# Index pattern has no field but the other index pattern is working properly, i can't also connect to mapping using curl

Hello @Epangilinangt,
My understanding is that you have two indices and can only create the index pattern for one of them. Additionally, you're unable to retrieve the mapping definitions for this index. What is the output in this case? And what is the response for `GET /`?
