# Index Patterns Warning No default index pattern

Hello  
after a lot of trial and error with the Installation i have got a running ELK.  
But when i went to the homepage it say

Index Patterns Warning No default index pattern. You must select or create one to continue.

where do i have a default index and what should be there?
