Hi
I have got bulk of emails in an archive folder and want to index them through elasticsearch. what are the possible options/ methods available with me. Assuming that a lot of people here had already done that.

Regards

Hey,

you should take a look at the [ingest-attachment processor](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/plugins/5.0/ingest-attachment.html). There is also a nice blog post about [indexing arxiv.org](https://www.elastic.co/blog/ingesting-and-exploring-scientific-papers-using-elastic-cloud) using that plugin, that might help to get started.

I dont know why but i am having hard time in installing third party plugins. I guess i need to install jruby and there is a specific version which is supported. Do you have an idea where can i get support for that?
