# Indexing Tweets with logstash elasticsearch and kibana

Hello, i'm trying to index tweets, importing them with logstash into elasticsearch but i'm getting an error that i couldn't resolve ![](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/elastic/original/2X/b/bc61a441f5f05ae936899a0ccd6e8c434e23cf3a.PNG)  
this is my twitter.conf file  
input {  
twitter {  
# add your data  
consumer\_key =\> "xx"

oauth\_token =\> "xx"  
oauth\_token\_secret =\> "xx"  
keywords =\> ["terrorist","terrorism","attack"]  
full\_tweet =\> true  
}  
}  
output {  
stdout { codec =\> dots }  
elasticsearch{  
protocol =\> "http"  
host =\> "localhost"  
index =\> "twitter"  
document\_type =\> "tweet"  
template =\> "twitter\_template.json"  
template\_name =\> "twitter"

What steps or tutorial is being followed here?  
Please test your config file with the -t switch ([https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/command-line-flags.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/command-line-flags.html))
