# Infrastructure hostname change

Does anyone know how to override what the infrastructure hostname displays as? It does not take the name specified for the filebeat or metricbeat shipper. My production and DR server have the same hostname but I want to be able to separate them in the infrastructure

Are your production and DR server on the same hardware? I'm pretty sure the hostname displayed in the infrastructure are based on the actual machine they run on... (also, not sure what a "DR server" is)

You can change the field via `xpack.infra.sources.default.fields.host`. Just for your reference, there is a PR ([https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/26579](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/26579)) that will add documentation for this that should be merged after the first of the year.
