# Infrastructure Logs UI change index?

Hi, the logs UI is incredible, I love it, but I would much rather be able to define which indices I'm watching. Is that feasible?

Hi @krainboltgreene,

thank you for trying out the Logs UI, glad to hear you like it!

You can change the pattern that defines which indices are looked at in `kibana.yml` with this setting: [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/26579/files#diff-3d8e25bfa60ef76c1ce7b5e7a68232f2R3](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/26579/files#diff-3d8e25bfa60ef76c1ce7b5e7a68232f2R3)

(The PR this is from should be merged soon so this turns up in the documentation itself.)
