# Input file plugin for Rotating Logs on NFS

What is ES recommended solution for  
**sending Rotating Logs in NFS mounted directory**  
to HTTP using Logstash?  
I've read that input **file** plugin is not tested/well supported for log files on NFS.  
Has this been resolved/improved in Logstash 6.x?
