I am trying to inspect the contents of the filter cache to debug some query
performance issue. Is there any way to look at the contents of filter cache
in elasticsearch ?

Thanks

I found this thread to be helpful

[http://elasticsearch-users.115913.n3.nabble.com/How-to-Monitor-Cache-Usage-td4034926.html](http://elasticsearch-users.115913.n3.nabble.com/How-to-Monitor-Cache-Usage-td4034926.html)

Looks like we cannot inspect the contents of the filter, but trying to use
the stats and validate api.
