Hi All,

I am new to this group and new to logstash+elasticsearch tool. I am trying
my hands on installing and running few things as mentioned on this link
[http://logstash.net/docs/1.4.2/tutorials/getting-started-with-logstash](http://logstash.net/docs/1.4.2/tutorials/getting-started-with-logstash)
I have reached to a point where I am trying to install a plugin and it
looks like I did install it "kopf"

Output for the installed plugin:

$ bin/plugin --install kopf --url
file:////home/oracle/Logspoc/elasticsearch-kopf-master.zip
-\> Installing kopf...
Trying file:////home/oracle/Logspoc/elasticsearch-kopf-master.zip...
Downloading ................DONE
Installed kopf into
/export/home/oracle/Logspoc/elasticsearch-1.1.1/plugins/kopf
Identified as a \_site plugin, moving to \_site structure ...
$ curl 'localhost:9200/\_cat/plugins?v'
name component version type url
Artemis kopf 1.3.5 s /\_plugin/kopf/

However, I am able to acess the URL "[http://localhost:9200/\_plugin/kopf](http://localhost:9200/_plugin/kopf) "

You must add a trailing slash to the URL

[http://localhost:9200/\_plugin/kopf/](http://localhost:9200/_plugin/kopf/)

Doesn't seem to work. Anything log which says why it is not working or any
other idea?

Maybe a permission problem? If ES process can not read the installed plugin
files, it can not work...

This was fixed :). See [Support trailing slashes on plugin \_site URLs fix #2654 · elastic/elasticsearch@8ab9d2d · GitHub](https://github.com/elasticsearch/elasticsearch/commit/8ab9d2dd1f525aa283e694e6662e79d6a80fcfa8)
It should redirect to the URL with appended /
