# Invalid version of beats protocol?

I try to used filebeat and logstash in local machine with cloud Elasticsearch. And some errors comes on filebeat and logstash both.

and they refuse to connect with each other. how can I solve this?

I have seen this in the past when beats and logstash do not agree on whether TLS is enabled.
