Just double checking:

Is discovery.zen.minimum\_master\_nodes still valid when using the EC2
discovery plug-in or does the syntax change to something
like discovery.ec2.minimum\_master\_nodes ? It looks like it's the former to
me and I'm about to test it myself but I just wanted to do a sanity check.

Answering my own question: yes, discovery.zen.minimum\_master\_nodes works
with the AWS plugin, not just the default Zen Discovery mode. I guess the
AWS plug-in just builds on top of Zen? Anyways, it works.

Yes, it does, and yes its built on top of zen. (Just revalidating your answer 🙂 ).
