# Is Elastic Enterprise Search free?

If i install elastic enterprise search on my own server, is it free? or should i pay ?

Hi @MaralErdene_Tumursuh, Enterprise Search can be downloaded and installed on your infrastructure for free. However, you might not have all the features or the same level of support. Check out [Elastic subscriptions](https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions) to find out more about what will and will not be available (you might have to scroll down a bit to get to the details about Elastic App Search and Elastic Workplace Search, specifically).

I read from https://www.bmc.com/blogs/install-elastic-enterprise-search/ that elastic enterprise search is for 30 days valid. Is that true ?
