# Is it possible to automate ES upgrade?

Hi ,

I wanted to know whether we can automate ES upgrade. Like when there new ES version available then automate the entire flow right from pulling the new release and upgrade it .

Any input on this?

Yes, using automation tools like puppet/chef/ansible etc.
