# Is multifield feature deprecated?

I want to use multified but it doesn`t work in es 2.4.0.

below is my indexing template.

but .raw field is not coming.  
es 2.4.0 doesn`t support dot in field name. Is it deprecated that reason?

Multi fields are still supported. Can you provide us with a minimal recreation of the problem (eg. a bash script with curl calls)?

I am testing logstash but It is happend when i test raw api. I create script if have a time.  
if i set below, does mulit field should work?

                "raw": {
                  "ignore_above": 256,

```

I got a answer. Multi fields is working on aggregation only.
