# Is possible to license just one node?

Hello all,
It is possible to license (Platinum subscription) just one node if I have just one server in my elastic cluster?

You can reach out to here, I suspect licensing has a minimum commitment more than 1 node.

Have you considered [elastic cloud](https://www.elastic.co/cloud/)? ... You could probably run a single node there fairly inexpensive and it would have the licensed features
