# Is the bulk thread pool bounded by n. processors?

Is there a reason you want to do this?

I'd suggest reading [this topic](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/any-idea-what-these-errors-mean-version-2-4-2/70690/5) for a solid refutation on why you think you might need to do this.
