# Is there a "Top N" filter that can be applied to dashboards?

I would like to filter a dashboard so that a user supplied number of results populate. Is this at all possible?
The end use case is to apply a filter such as, "Only return the top 10 altitudes" (only 10 individual documents), somewhat similar to the aggregations available in visualizations.

What do you mean by "top"? What is the logic?
e.g. the largest altitudes?
