# Is there a way to add a custom tag to a Rally race?

Hey there,  
I was trying to use Rally to benchmark my clusters. Is there a way to add a tag to the race? I have a custom track and I want to modify only the races not the track.

Yes, please use `--user-tags` option, see [Command Line Reference - Rally 2.9.1 documentation](https://esrally.readthedocs.io/en/stable/command_line_reference.html#user-tags).
