# Is there a way to prevent Kibana users from using Search and Add/change filter functions?

For some users I would like to be able to disable the search bar and the Add filter (and change filter) at the top of the Kibana screen. Is there a way to do this?  
I would like to disable this:

Unfortunately, it's not configureable even with RBAC. You could [create a feature request](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/new?template=Feature_request.md) to add granular control for Filters with sub-feature privileges [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/60563](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/60563)
