# Is there any option or way to turn off stdout related options?

When using the `logstash elasticsearch output` , it can be seen that `stdout` logging is displayed even without additional `stdout` setting.

Is there any option or way to turn off `stdout` related options?

Are you referring to the log4j2 output? If so, removing the console appender in log4j2.properties might help.

Thank you for answer.  
Apart from log4j2 properties setting, json logging seems to remain as it is.  
Probably like the logs left by logstash elasticsearch output.  
No log is left when using other outputs.
