# Is there any way in bulk api to update all documents present in index in one short

Is there any way to update all the documents present in index without mentioning id in request body.

Please don't post images of text as they are hardly readable and not searchable.

Instead paste the text and format it with `</>` icon. Check the preview window.

May be use update by query api then?
