Is there any way to configure HTTPS in ES cluster without using x-pack ? I'm using 5.4 version. I know it is doable freely in 6.8+ but any lead with 5.4 version ?

If you just want HTTPS then you can put a reverse proxy in front of Elasticsearch and use that for the TLS termination, and maybe some simple auth too. But really 5.4 is very old, it went [EOL](https://www.elastic.co/support/eol) over two years ago and has known bugs that have since been fixed. You should upgrade as a matter of urgency.
