# Is there anyway that I hack the select-list of discover page

kibana 5.x  
is there anyway that I hack the select-list of discover page? I return diff index select-list based on the request header maybe

can you try to explain what you are trying to do in more details ? generally we don't recommend hacking the code as this means you will not be compatible with future updates.
