I am a long term user of elasticsearch for text data but have never really used the times series analytics capabilites.

Being currently working towards a new project including a heavy workload on time series I was naturally inclined towards using elastic but I have reviewed subscriptions ([Subscriptions | Elastic Stack Products & Support | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions)) and time series functionnalities documentation and have trouble understanding if I could get time series analytics and forecasting through API or Kibana in a self hosted open source / docker installation of my elastic stack ?

Thanks in advance for your help understanding this.
