# Issue: Failed to create monitoring event

Seeing the following error after running the logstash.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Yes. I have seen the link which you have mentioned here and also some more on the same topic. But in those discussions the actual reason for this issue is not clear. Also you mentioned this issue is being currently tracked, does that mean whether it is a known issue in logstash and is being fixed?
