# Issue while running logstash

bin/logstash -f testing.config  
Sending Logstash's logs to /home/elkuser/elk/logstash-6.3.1/logs which is now co nfigured via log4j2.properties  
[2018-07-11T12:22:46,237][WARN][logstash.config.source.multilocal] Ignoring the 'pipelines.yml' file because modules or command line options are specified  
[2018-07-11T12:22:46,259][FATAL][logstash.runner] Logstash could not b e started because there is already another instance using the configured data di rectory. If you wish to run multiple instances, you must change the "path.data" setting.  
[2018-07-11T12:22:46,265][ERROR][org.logstash.Logstash] java.lang.IllegalSta teException: Logstash stopped processing because of an error: (SystemExit) exit

i deleted .lock file and issue is now gone ...thanks..
