I'm currently taking the _Elasticsearch Engineer (On-Demand)_ course, and I'm working on lab 7.2: **"Data Streams"**. The instructions ask to create an integration that should automatically generate a data stream. However, I'm facing several issues even after following the steps carefully:

1. When I reach the "Where to add this integration" section and select **"Existing hosts"** , the **"stack-monitoring-policy"** Agent Policy does not appear in the list.

2. When I click **"Save and deploy changes"** , I don’t see the same confirmation window shown in the tutorial. There's no prompt indicating that an agent will be updated, and the **"Save and deploy changes"** button is also missing.

3. Additionally, a warning appears saying **"Requires root privileges"** and **"Policy secrets are disabled"** , along with a message suggesting that I need to **update the Fleet Server**.

My questions:

- Is there something missing or incorrect in the lab instructions?

- Do I need to create the **Agent Policy** (e.g., "stack-monitoring-policy") manually beforehand?

- Do I need to set up a **Fleet Server** before proceeding with the integration?

Hi there…can you please confirm that you are on Kibana 2 (cluster2)? I think you might be on Kibana 1.

The requires root privileges will still show up but will not be a problem. The **"stack-monitoring-policy" should be on Kibana 2.**

Let us know.
Thanks… Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for your response and clarification — **you nailed it!** I completely missed the detail about needing to use **kibana2** instead of **kibana1** , and that was exactly the issue.

Really appreciate your help!

Best regards,
Jesús Ángel.
