# It was found that users could not generate a report CSV or download logs from the dashboard

HI Team,
It was found that users could not generate a report CSV or download logs from the dashboard,
### **teps to Reproduce**
Search for logs in Kibana Discover dashboard
Attempt to download those logs:
1. Click 'Save' to save the query
2. Click 'Reporting', then 'Generate CSV'
note: still getting error like Download error- there was an error generating this report
let me know if you need any more information

Do you see any errors in the browser console (in Developer Tools)?
If you look at the network tab in the developer tools, are there requests that were returned a 4xx or 5xx status?
Please note that downloading CSV from a dashboard panel requires the user to have Reporting privileges: [Configure reporting in Kibana | Kibana Guide [8.0] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/secure-reporting.html#grant-user-access)

because of old version have bug to download the reports so we are are upgraded
