# Java 11 Support in ES Rest High level client

Hi,
Can you please let us know if Java 11 can be used to communicate with ES (V7.2) using Rest High level client. As per documentation it's not clear if Java 8 is the only version supported by Rest High level Client.

Can you please let us know if Logstash works with Java 11.

1.8 is a minimum requirement. You can use the client under with 11.
