We have a question about java license change.
Is there any impact on elastic search component?

Since Elasticsearch runs with many different jvms, including several variants of OpenJDK, the license change does not directly impact Elasticsearch. It may, however, impact users who currently use Oracle's JDK to run Elasticsearch. An alternative, which is also mentioned in that note, is to use OpenJDK, in particular the GPL version of OpenJDK produced by Oracle. Elasticsearch, since 7.0, bundles this GPL OpenJDK.
