# JDBC Input Plug In : Read password and username from external file

I don't want to write username and password in JDBC input of logstash.conf file but I want to import it from another config file. Can anyone explain if this can be done? I don't want my password/username to be exposed in logstash.config file

I found jdbc\_password\_filepath but nothing much has been explained about this.
