# JSON Query DSL Grammar/Syntax

I see some posts a couple of years back now about people working on a formal, compact description for the ES JSON Query DSL, but nothing recent, and none appears to exist on-line (none on the [elasticsearch.org](http://elasticsearch.org) site at any rate).

Does anyone have any leads on this?
