# Kana watcher retry after an hour if failed to execute the first time

Hi,

One of my Kibana watcher with email action failed to run this morning. I need it to automatically retry if failed to execute the first time. Is it currently possible with Kibana watcher? If not, is there any tricks by which I could achieve this?

I am aware that with Kibana automatic report regeneration has retry option: [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/5.5/automating-report-generation.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/5.5/automating-report-generation.html) but I am not generating reports with Kibana watcher unfortunately.

Hi @MrGetfit1234

Unfortunately, it is not possible to set a retry on watcher email actions. If you need this feature you might want to use a webhook action and handle your retry logic there.
