# Keeping getting this error, please help parse\_exception","reason":"Failed to parse content to map"}

Hi All,

I'm a newbie to Elasticsearch, I'm trying to get my code to work with not\_analyzed

Please see below

```
curl -X PUT "localhost:9200/_mapping/jdbc" -H 'Content-Type: application/x-ndjson' -d '
{
"mappings": {
"jdbc" : { 
"properties" : {
"mac_client" : {
"type" : "string",
"index": "not_analyzed"
}
"mac_sniffer" : {
"type" : "string"
"index": "not_analyzed"
}
"rssi" : {
"type" : "long"
}
"timestamp" : {
"type" : "date"
"format" : "strict_date_optional_time||epoch_millis"
}
}
}
}
}
'

```

Although when I enter this i get the following error

Wondering if any of you can help, would be greatly appreciated.
