I actually found it here: > [@How to make a table like Excel sheet with Kibana?](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/how-to-make-a-table-like-excel-sheet-with-kibana/25687/10): > > We have written a chrome plugin, it injects the CSV export functionality in Kibana Discover tab. We know Kibana team is trying to solve this problem in a holistic way, so we thought this quick hack might help users like us. Let us know, what you think? But will some info here. It's using excel power query connecting to a web page: > **[Import data from data sources (Power Query) - Microsoft Support](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/import-data-from-data-sources-power-query-be4330b3-5356-486c-a168-b68e9e616f5a?redirectSourcePath=%252fen-us%252farticle%252fConnect-to-a-web-page-Power-Query-b2725d67-c9e8-43e6-a590-c0a175bd64d8)** > > Use Power Query in Excel to import data into Excel from a wide variety of popular data sources, including CSV, XML, JSON, PDF, SharePoint, SQL, and more. I found this post (in German but the important bits should be understandable): [http://www.bigdata-unleashed.com/20140708/smarte-analyse-von-log-daten-mit-excel-und-elasticsearch](http://www.bigdata-unleashed.com/20140708/smarte-analyse-von-log-daten-mit-excel-und-elasticsearch) Haven't found any tutorial other than that one for elasticsearch, but as power query understand json. It should be relatively easy. Haven't tried myself yet, but once I do, I'll post here if it requires more than the code shown in that blog post.
