# Kibana 4 display most recent value of field

Hello All,

is it possible to dispaly the most recent value of a field on any given dashboard?

I would like to add a viusualisation displaying the most recent value of a field, in this case it's the data from a temperature probe. The dashboard is otherwise showing the min/max values and a line chart for any given 24 hour period.
