# Kibana 5: Data Table (Add/Remove or Show/Hide Fields like in Kibana 3)

Hello,

I would like to know how we can have Data Table with options to Show/Hide (Add/remove) Fields of Data Table?

On the left of the data table, you do have a list of All available fields/Current fields then you tick to show/hide a fields in the Data table.

This model of data table do exist in Kibana 3 but not found in Kibana 4 and 5!

Hi

Am wondering if you are talking about the table shown in the left panel. Once you add a metric /field it shows up in the data table vis. Am not sure about Kibana 3, but the only way not to show some fields in the data table is not to add them . Hope this makes sense, if not plz elaborate on your question more to help you. Thanks .
