# Kibana 7.5 Can't Unpacking!

I will install kibana 7.5 on ubuntu by apt-get

` sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install kibana`

but when i install logs told me can't unpacking kibana. who has a best suggestion?

Kibana installation can take a good amount of time depending on your system, have you given it more than a couple minutes? May be an issue with memory on your machine ? Can you uninstall and retry ?

I have the same issue, only trough dpkg -i  
I let the installation do it's thing overnight but nothing happened.

```
dpkg -i kibana-7.5.0-amd64.deb
Selecting previously unselected package kibana.
(Reading database ... 132960 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to unpack kibana-7.5.0-amd64.deb ...
Unpacking kibana (7.5.0) over (7.5.0) ...

```

trying to uninstall gives me the following:

```
dpkg -P kibana
dpkg: error processing package kibana (--purge):
 package is in a very bad inconsistent state; you should reinstall it before attempting a removal
Errors were encountered while processing: kibana
```
