Hello guys !

I'm working on the migration of a custom plugin from kibana 6.5.4 to kibana 7.5.0 but I noticed that the parameter server.defaultRoute disappeared from the configuration file.

So, how can I redirect the home page to a custom route now ?

Hi @pchakour, the config file option was replaced with an advanced setting you can change in Kibana's management UI. More info in this github issue: [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/44678](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/44678)

Awesome ! Thank you for your answer !

Do you know if it's possible to change this value programmatically ?

Yep, these advanced settings are stored as a Saved Object of type `config`. So you can update them using the [Saved Object APIs](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/saved-objects-api.html).
