# Kibana 7.9 out of memory messages for various visualizations

We were running 7.6.2 and upgraded both elasticsearch and kibana to 7.9.0. When looking at various visualizations we get out of memory errors in Chrome and abort in Firefox. One viz is a date histogram at 1 minute interval with 8 million documents per 12 hours. We downgraded to 7.8.0 and we aren't seeing the same front end issues. We will likely stay on 7.8.0 but wanted to convery what we are seeing.

Hi

Haven't heard of such a problem with 7.9.0, there was a performance regression that was fixed with 7.9.1, but it was caused by area viszualizations
