# Kibana 8.12.2 load image local

Hello! I want to display in my kibana visualization my local image.  
I placed the images in this path "/usr/share/kibana/src/plugins/index\_pattern\_management/public/assets/icons/topologias/Portales" but they do not load when using markdown

Hi @ferchovi90,

I can't see your markdown image. But can you check that the URL link is correct and accessible? I'm not sure a path such as the above would work.

Hello, thank you for answering, I would like to know in kibana 8.12.2 where I can store my images locally within kibana and be able to display them in markdown visualization

I'm not sure that can be done. I believe it needs to be available via a public URL.
