# Kibana 8.8.2 is not able to connect to elastic

I m trying to move from 7.17.9 to kibana 8.8.2 but kibana is rejecting to connect with elastic with cert not configured error.

Those certificates are working in 7.17.9 but kibana 8.8.2 doesn't recognise. Any suggestions to fix the issue will really help.
