# Kibana Access control

Hi,

I want restrict the access to kibana according to one of my field value.What is the best option we can use?

The best option for doing this in a supported way would be to use the Field And Document Access Control features of X-Pack Security. This requires a subscription with a Platinum-level license.

Note that you can't lock down the **entire** Kibana UI based on the value of a single field using this feature, but you can restrict access to the data based on a search that you define.

You can experiment with the feature with a free 30-day Trial license which gives you all the features of X-Pack.
