# Kibana Calculate increase of Metric value

Hello,

I am just starting to use Elasticsearch and Kibana. Was able to get a cumulative matric into elasticsearch, but are struggling to visualize or get my head around visualizing the increase of the value for set time value.

I would like to see a matric that shows the increase of the value from the start of the day to now.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
