# Kibana cannot recognize APM Server

Kibana not recognizing APM server running status.

installed on CentOS Stream via `rpm` packages.

kibana version: `8.14.1`  
elasticsearch version: `8.14.1`  
APM version: `8.13.4` (also tried 8.14.0, `8.14.1`)

help pls

Could you please check apm server logs, If getting any error. You can try some of [troubleshooting steps](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/observability/current/apm-enable-apm-server-debugging.html).
