# Kibana converting float values to integer in timelion plot

I'm trying to plot a field which is of type float against timestamp using timelion visual builder.  
However, the y axis always rounds them off to integer values.  
I checked my index mapping and the field is of type float.  
Any way of plotting float values using timelion?

This is the bug report: [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/17379](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/17379) I see you found it 🙂  
I am checking if there is a workaround.

I wasn't able to find a workaround, so tracking through the issue will be best for now. Thanks!
